The Black Keys and my attempt at it

So I gave it a shot and recorded my version of "Next Girl" by The Black Keys. Amazing song with fantastic lyrics that really hit home for me. It's recorded on my Blackberry Curve so the audio is questionable but I think you get the point. My cover of "Next Girl" by The Black Keys

Coffee, how many of us are addicted to this sweet sweet bean? I know I am definitely one of the millions who depend on it's daily consumption to 1. Not rip someone apart with my angry morning eyes 2. accomplish anything productive in the day.

So I understand that The Black Keys have been around for awhile. They have always been a band that I've had friends recommend to me over and over again and also one of those bands that you are just like "eh, i'll check them out tomorrow" and then never take your lazy ass over to their website. HOWEVER, with this said I've finally begun digging in and I absolutely fucking LOVE their newest album. I know, I know, music elitists everywhere are shitting their pants, "man, their new stuff is nothing like their old stuff"...settle down snobs, I don't know if that's true or not and to be frank, I could give a fuck less. This shit is raw, rock and roll and it makes me want to go out and buy $5,000 in electrical musical equipment. Songs like "Tighten Up" and "Next Girl" have been running ramped in my head since I've started listening to them and I've already developed 2 pretty kick ass acoustic covers of them....anyway...listen to them if you don't already ( I'm sure most of you do)..

I'm new to this, the world of blogging. But I talk a lot and currently have a lot of time on my hands so I said, what the fuck, let's give it a try. I'm never kept a diary, I rarely write down my thoughts other than in the form of lyric, but I do enjoy rambling on so perhaps this will be a great outlet.
I will most likely be posting old, current, and new lyrics on here...mostly so I can remember them but also to receive some feedback. I'd like to know what you think, well in all reality I don't care and most likely won't change them but you get the idea.
     Right now it's windy as all shit and I think my building may collapse.
